Tide heights are astronomical predictions, not local river levels.
Inland selections are referenced to the nearest coastal location.
Marine weather data is sourced from the nearest offshore point when available.

🔐 WorldTides API Key (Required for Global Tides)

Important: For worldwide tide predictions, a WorldTides API key is required. The app works for US locations without an API key using NOAA data, but global tide data requires WorldTides access.

US Locations: Works without API key using NOAA Tides & Currents
Worldwide Tides: Requires WorldTides API key
Weather Data: Works without any paid API key (Open-Meteo)
Free Trial: 100 credits free when you register (50 predictions)
Pricing: 10,000 credits (5,000 predictions) for $10
Setup: Open the app → About → Settings → Enter API Key

Developers can purchase pre-paid credits or monthly service, with both options available for high-volume usage.
